A contemporary taking on the sublime & the surreal Luciana Guerra (@lucianaguerraok). Originally from Argentina they seek to redefine the boundaries of digital and physical abstraction. through a fusion of digital painting, collage, monotype, and mixed media. Luciana creates intricate, layered compositions that evoke both history and modernity.

A deep engagement with art history is evident in her works. the pieces in her series Deconstructing echoes the chaotic beauty of Hieronymus Bosch, but with a distinctly contemporary, abstract sensibility. Unlike Bosch’s medieval allegories, Luciana’s work does not merely depict morality tales it dissolves them into layered emotions. the use of collage and monotype reflects how history itself is an accumulation of textures, narratives, and reinterpretations.

What sets Luciana apart is how medium and meaning merge. the fusion of digital and traditional painting embodies the idea that art is never static it’s constantly shifting, breaking apart, and reforming. a continuous dialogue with the past, seen through a new lens.

Luciana’s art is a bridge between worlds, between past and present, digital and physical, chaos and order. It’s a reminder that art is a living entity, forever evolving.
