With a camera and quiet intention, Jonas (@YonesMahmoudi99) creates work that lingers. In his series “Surrounded”, the body returns to the earth not as spectacle, but as surrender. There’s something haunting in the way stillness is framed. no noise, no struggle;


Just a soft reminder that we all go back to where we came from.


This isn’t conceptual for the sake of cleverness. It’s emotional, it's personal. Jonas asks us to sit with impermanence not to fear it, but to recognize its quiet beauty. Photography, for Jonas isn’t just about what’s seen. It’s about what’s felt between the frames. What’s left unsaid, what surrounds us, and eventually, what claims us.
